Will you be our new team manager Collection?

With a team of over 100 enthusiastic and motivated colleagues, we take care of waste and raw materials collection for the municipalities of Gorinchem, Vijfheerenlanden, Molenlanden and Hardinxveld-Giessendam. Every day, we apply our knowledge and expertise for a clean environment and a waste-free future. Where we do not exhaust raw materials, but reuse them. This is how we want to contribute to a sustainable society, where everyone enjoys living and where waste no longer exists.

We are looking for a team manager Collection

The Collection team is part of the Implementation Department. With approximately 30 employees, the team takes care of the door-to-door collection of waste and raw materials. You work closely with the Team Managers of the Public Space Management and Equipment and Waste-to-Environment teams.

What will you do?

It is all about providing efficient and effective collection.To achieve this:

• you get the best out of your team! You guide and coach your team members and encourage them in their professional development. Among other things, you will hold work meetings, toolbox sessions and
  progress interviews.
• work on optimising our routes
• you ensure careful implementation of our work processes
• you participate in project groups within your field of expertise
• manage allocated budgets and report as part of the P&C cycle.
• ensure coordination with other teams and departments.
• You advise the department manager on the development of the Execution Department.
