All-round Honer

As an All-round Honer at Helmink you will be involved in the entire process and you will also be responsible for your own work. It will be your job to ensure that your products meet the requirements in terms of size, roughness and tolerances. Helmink has an extensive range of machinery containing all the tools you need.

At Helmink you work at your own level and start with serial work. The serial work is not always perfectly pre-processed, so you'll find the challenge in that too! Since customers pay by the hour, you keep your schedule tight and go to the planner in time if you think you're overrunning it. Because of this close cooperation, there will be no surprises to anyone and timely communication with the customer is possible.

Your work also consists of:

• Reading drawings/work orders and analysing the correct machining sequence;

• Setting the machines for honing;

• Clamping the material and tools;

• Continuous quality measurement of your own product with hand measuring tools.

What does Helmink Hoontechniek offer you?

As an employee at Helmink Hoontechniek you will be part of a team of currently 14 employees with short lines of communication. You will be working closely with the planner and communicate major changes directly to the owner, who is in contact with the customers.

Helmink offers you a nice place to work with a varied group of colleagues aged between 23 and 50. In the beginning you will be fully onboarded by a colleague and first learn all the intricacies of the trade. Within about 1 to 2 months you will be able to do serial work independently and then grow to larger projects.

  There are many opportunities for additional training, such as forklift operation or quality measurements!
• Good primary and secondary elements of remuneration.
  Salary in line with the market (depending on age and experience), full reimbursement of travel expenses (€0.19 p/km), CLA Kleinmetaal, pension scheme via Pensioenfonds Metaal & Techniek (PMT, part of MN Services), 25 days' holiday and 13 days off in connection with the reduced working hours scheme.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will be working 40 hours a week.
