As a Electrical Technician Maritime, you will perform electrical assembly and installation work on board ships, often in the Netherlands as well as in other countries. When working as a Electrical Technician Maritime, your responsibilities will include:

• Installing control cabinets, switchboards, and control panels;
• Laying cables and performing connection and wiring tasks;
• Carrying out other related activities on-site.

You will execute your tasks according to instructions and established regulations. Additionally, you will prepare for your assignments by gathering the necessary materials and tools, ensuring their availability. Regular communication with your supervisor will be essential to track the project's progress.

For the function of Electrical Technician Maritime, you need:

• Completed education in Electrical Engineering.
• Several years of relevant work experience in a similar position at the junior or mid-level.
• Ability to independently read and interpret blueprints and other drawings.
• Possession of a valid VCA Basic certificate or a willingness to obtain one.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Valid driving license (Category B) within the European Union.
